What experience do you have?

DJ Hip-Notiq has been a working DJ since 2003 with private events played in several states & club experience in

Alaska and California.

Why do you DJ?

Music whether it’s just playing it or making it. If we can make your night by playing

that Sinatra song you danced to 35 years ago or the club track you were shakin’ it to last week in the club

we have done our job. To put it simply, we do it for the love of music!

What are your rates?

We offer three types of packages to accommodate clients needs:

Premiere Package $700

Package includes:

6 hours of play time for the event, full lighting system, clients requested music, consultations as needed, full MC services, custom compilation souvenir CD,  and proper attire to match event

Advantage Package $500

Package includes:

5 hours of play time for the event, basic lighting system, clients requested music, planned announcements, consultations as needed, and proper attire to match event

Basic Package $375

Package includes: 

5 hours of play time for the event, clients requested music, consultations as needed, and proper attire to match event

We can customize packages to meet your needs.  Hourly rates available upon request.

Do you charge for setup and teardown?

No this should never be a charge its part of what we do.

Do you charge for travel time?

In our local service area in Los Angeles no, we do charge a fuel fee for any events over 100 miles from our office

such as Las Vegas or remote locations .

For out of state events or club bookings travel requirements shall be arranged as needed.

Do you use software or a laptop?

We prefer to use CD Turntables that act just like vinyl records for a number of reasons.

What music do you play?

We play what you request. We try to get all those I cant live without them songs. This is also why we use CDs if

you have it we can play it!

Do you have karaoke?

No we do not at this time offer that service.

What is involved in booking my event?

First we meet to discuss your needs; once your needs have been decided, we put all the needed event information on a contract with a duplicate copy issued to client to insure accuracy. At the meeting, a booking deposit is collected to insure your date is reserved.  We attempt to visit the event site if allowable to view logistics.  Last but certainly not least we are available to the client to answer all questions or make the necessary updates to any event changes up to the event date.

Can you do short notice events?

Yes we can, although it is highly recommended to book well in advance we can do short notice events. Shattered Concepts has done numerous

events with less than 24 hours notice.

Can I see you live?

 If we have a public event  scheduled when we meet we welcome possible clients, however, because every event we do is treated with the utmost respect & courtesy bringing anyone to a private event that is not company affiliated is unprofessional.  We respect each clients right to privacy.
